The City Lights Scene, the 22nd Annual LAF Benefit Dinner, grossed $63,000 this year,
breaking all previous revenue records. Proceeds for this event benefit the LAF Leadership
in Landscape Scholarship Program.
The LAF board of directors and staff, professional and industry leaders, and special guests
attended the City Lights Scene, the 22nd Annual LAF Benefit Dinner on October 5, 2007.
Through their generosity, LAF raised $63,000, a record for event revenue, to benefit the
LAF Leadership in Landscape Scholarship Program.
The City Lights Scene was held on the fifty-second floor of the former Bank of America
World Headquarters building, in the famed Carnelian Room Restaurant, offering unparalleled
views of the city from high atop one of the tallest buildings in San Francisco.
The perfectly clear night provided guests with views of the lights of San Francisco, laid
out like jewels on black velvet. The cities across the Bay sparkled and reflected off the
water and the spans of the Golden Gate and the Bay Bridges arched magnificently across the bays.
Please join LAF, and your friends and colleagues in Philadelphia in October of 2008 to enjoy
yet another stunning setting and memorable experience. Look for details on the 23rd Annual
LAF Benefit Dinner soon.
