Through the leadership of Joe Lalli, LAF Vice President of Development, EDSA has
contributed $125,000 in gifts and pledges to LAF. Joe solicited EDSA principals
and associate principals for major gifts to the EDSA Minority Scholarship and the
Olmsted Scholars Program by offering an EDSA match from the company to the LAF
annual fund.
Seventeen principals responded with gifts totaling $65,000, of which $32,500 each
went to the two designated scholarship programs. EDSA matched the total with a firm
gift of $65,000 to LAF.
The EDSA match breaks the record for an annual gift from a single firm and the gifts by
EDSA principals are unprecedented in recent LAF history.
