Sat, Sept 10, 11am-12:30pm
Most people know about building performance, but few outside the profession appreciate landscape performance and the contribution landscape solutions make to sustainability. This session will provide tools to help you quantify the benefits of your projects to demonstrate landscape performance to a wider audience and increase your impact. Panelists will use case studies to differentiate between sustainability features and metrics for showing environmental, social, economic, and aesthetic benefits of high-performing landscapes.
Speakers: Barbara Deutsch, ASLA, and Heather Whitlow, Landscape Architecture Foundation; Debra Guenther ASLA, LEED AP, Mithun; Elizabeth Meyer, FASLA, University of Virginia

Thurs, Nov 18, 8:30-10am
We all know what building performance is, but what about “landscape performance”? The Landscape Architecture Foundation launched the Landscape Performance Series to show the contribution that landscape solutions make toward achieving sustainability.    This session presents case studies with quantified landscape benefits, offers tools to calculate the benefits of existing projects, and provides resources to make the case for sustainable landscape solutions.  Attendees will also learn how to submit their projects and be part of a growing online resource.
Speakers: Barbara Deutsch, ASLA, Landscape Architecture Foundation
