LAF 41st Annual Benefit
Join the Landscape Architecture Foundation and leaders from practice, academia, and industry for a lively evening in a setting steeped in the glamour of Los Angeles’ golden age.
Set in the heart of Downtown Los Angeles just blocks from the Convention Center, The Belasco is a historic theater meticulously restored to its original architectural splendor and thoughtfully adapted with modern amenities. Originally opened in 1926, the theater's Spanish Renaissance–inspired interior features soaring ceilings, ornate plasterwork, arched balconies, and rich wood detailing. Starting in 1950, the Balasco was operated as a church for nearly four decades, and it now serves as a music and events venue. It will be an unforgettable space to catch up with friends and make new connections.
The Annual Benefit will celebrate LAF's 60th anniversary and the transformative work made possible by LAF's many friends, partners, and supporters throughout the years. Tickets to this reception-style event include fine food and an open bar with all proceeds supporting LAF and its key programs and initiatives.

Gala Dinner
Immediately preceding the Annual Benefit, LAF will host a Gala Dinner from 6:15-8:30pm. This smaller, sit-down dinner has full table-service and a selection of wine and beer. The program will include speeches by the two 2026 National Olmsted Scholars (undergraduate and graduate winners) and the LAF Medal Award winner, celebrating emerging and established leaders in landscape architecture. In addition to raising funds to support LAF and its research, scholarships, and leadership programs and special initiatives, the Gala Dinner will highlight personal stories demonstrating LAF’s impact.
Full tables (8 guests) and half tables (4 guests) can be reserved now. A limited number of individual tickets may be released closer to the event, if availability allows. Gala Dinner tickets include access to the LAF Annual Benefit.
