To date, LAF has awarded over $2 million to more than 650 students through our two scholarships programs.

With $225,000 available annually through our student scholarships and Olmsted Scholars Program, LAF is a leading source of financial support for landscape architecture students. These awards recognize leadership, reward superior student performance, support access and diversity, and assist students with unmet financial need.

Today, some 5,300 students are enrolled in landscape architecture programs. With the cost of higher education on the rise, financial support is vital to attract and retain quality students and to ease their debt burden so that they can focus on honing and using their unique talents. Through two programs, LAF offers students both financial assistance and the opportunity to connect with rising and established leaders in the discipline.

LAF is grateful to the many individuals and organizations that provide financial support towards fulfilling our mission to support the preservation, improvement, and enhancement of the environment.

Much of what LAF is able to accomplish would not be possible without the thought leadership and financial investment of our major supporters, including ASLA, which provides over $125,000 of in-kind support annually.
