What We Do
LAF works to increase the capacity, influence, and impact of landscape architects to create a more sustainable, just, and resilient future.
For over 50 years, LAF has been identifying priorities and strengthening the discipline to meet weighty environmental, social, and economic challenges. We believe in the power of design to create a healthier, more equitable, and sustainable world.
The charge is serious. The charge is urgent. The moment is now. Landscape architects have a vital role to play.

Congratulations to Our 2025 Scholarship Winners!

The Landscape Architecture Foundation (LAF) has awarded a total of $165,000 to 26 outstanding students for its 2024-25 scholarship season.

The 17 scholarships offered support the next generation of designers by rewarding superior student performance, supporting access and diversity, supporting original research, and assisting students with unmet financial need. The awards are made possible through funds established by generous sponsors.

LAF congratulates all of our 2025 winners, who were selected through a competitive process by sponsor- and LAF-convened juries made up of leaders in landscape architecture practice, academia, and industry.
