Issues
Climate change, rapid urbanization, species extinction, and inequity make the need for sustainable landscape solutions greater than ever.
Together we can transform our world through design
What We Do
LAF works to increase the capacity, influence, and impact of landscape architects to create a more sustainable, just, and resilient future.
For over 50 years, LAF has been identifying priorities and strengthening the discipline to meet weighty environmental, social, and economic challenges. We believe in the power of design to create a healthier, more equitable, and sustainable world.
Big Ideas
The charge is serious. The charge is urgent. The moment is now. Landscape architects have a vital role to play.

The Olmsted Scholar Agenda: From Declaration to Action

LAF is grateful to the many individuals and organizations that provide financial support towards fulfilling our mission to increase the transformational impact of landscape architects and allies.

Much of what LAF is able to accomplish would not be possible without the thought leadership and financial investment of our major supporters, including the American Society of Landscape Architects (ASLA), which provides over $125,000 of in-kind support annually.
