LAF Response to COVID-19

LAF has been closely monitoring news and developments related to coronavirus (COVID-19). In alignment with the decision made by the DC government to close schools and other facilities, the LAF office is closed. Staff will be working from home during this time, and our regular programs and activities (aside from travel and in-person outreach) will continue uninterrupted.

We want to do our part to help slow the spread of COVID-19 and will continue to assess as the situation evolves and more information becomes available. We will post any additional updates about LAF activities on this page.

All of our staff are available via email and will be working diligently to deliver our programs, continue collaborations, and stay connected virtually over the next few weeks. Be well and don’t hesitate to reach out.

LAF is grateful to the many individuals and organizations that provide financial support towards fulfilling our mission to support the preservation, improvement, and enhancement of the environment.

Much of what LAF is able to accomplish would not be possible without the thought leadership and financial investment of our major supporters, including ASLA, which provides over $125,000 of in-kind support annually.
