LAF's 2023 CSI Program: On the Water
On the Water: Measuring Landscape Performance with LAF’s 2023 CSI Program
The Landscape Architecture Foundation's Case Study Investigation (CSI) program supports faculty-student research teams who work with designers to assess and document the performance of exemplary landscape projects as Case Study Briefs. In this third in a series of webinars, two teams from the 2023 CSI program present the waterfront projects they evaluated in Boston, Massachusetts and St. Petersburg, Florida.
For each built landscape, a representative from the design firm shares background information about the project and design, followed by the academic team presenting their research process and most compelling findings from their efforts to quantify the environmental, social, and economic benefits.
To see more of the 2023 CSI teams, check out the other webinars in the series: Places for People on September 19 and Midwestern Gems on October 10.
